Children's Church Ghala

Good Shepherd Hall  ‖  Friday  ‖  8:30-10:30am  ‖  2-10yrs  ‖  Children Check-in

PCO Kids' Children’s Ministry exists to unite church and home by encouraging and equipping parents to be the primary disciples of their children.  Our intention is to immerse kids and preschoolers in the gospel through every story, theological concept, and call to mission from Genesis to Revelations. Kids and preschoolers will understand that the Bible is not just a collection of stories, but one unified story-God’s story of redemption.

Our goal is to introduce kids to Jesus at each phase of life. Our teams provide a safe, fun, and engaging experience where your child can be paired with a leader to guide them through service and into a closer relationship with Jesus. We take the safety of your child very seriously! Every adult in our classrooms has been interviewed. The wrist band you receive at welcome desk provides extra security at pickup.

Before the start of our 9 AM service, check in your child, 2yr through 5th-grade, at Children’s Check-In. If this is your first time, a greeter at the Welcome Desk will enter your child’s basic information with their class information and any allergies or medical conditions. Your child must be checked in wearing their wrist band before entering their classroom. You’ll receive a “child check” wrist band that you must present when you pick your child up

Ages : 2-3 Yrs

Goal : In each nursery class, our goal is to create a peaceful atmosphere and care for your child’s physical needs to give them a great first impression of their Heavenly Father. It provides purposeful play as well as starts to add structure from Bible stories, along with a craft and worship each week

Ages : 4-5 Yrs

Goal : In each preschool class, we guide your child’s curiosity through Bible-based, interactive activities to help them discover who Jesus is.

Ages : 6-10 Yrs
Goal : In each elementary class, we seek to engage your child’s interest through worship, large group bible story time and small group activities. Our elementary environment is based on a small group’s model. Kids come in and meet with a leader and group of kids (based on grade level) to grow socially and then head to large group together with the other grades/small groups. During large group they worship together, connect to the teaching, listen to a Bible story via video and then head back to their small group to put into action what was taught through hands on activities. Friday centers around a bottom line that helps them apply the Biblical teaching to their life as an elementary schooler.
