Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

We want you to know that the Christian church compounds in Oman are closed to gatherings, effective today, in adherence to new precautions directed by the government in light of the global pandemic COVID-19.

For the PCO this means:

• All five regular weekly worship services in Ghala and Ruwi will NOT take place.

• Regular Children, Youth, and Adult Discipleship programs, including Awana, will NOT take place.

• The Annual General Meeting (AGM) scheduled for March 20 is being postponed to a future date.

During this time:

• We will be finding ways to continue our life as church, only without in-person gatherings.  We're already working on a bunch of things.

• In the coming days, look for communication via email and on the church website for ways to stay connected to and participate in the church.

• Encourage other PCO members to sign up to receive emails from the church. Sign up HERE.

Pray:
Let us place our trust in the Lord, maker of heaven and earth.  Let us pray for God's beloved human creatures.  For those who are the vulnerable let us pray that the Holy Spirit will protect them.  For those who are strong, let us pray that the Holy Spirit will give them compassion and good sense. 

Seek God's Wisdom:
Take time in God's presence this week to consider how deeply interwoven our lives are.  Pray that God will show you how you can take responsibility for your thread in His global tapestry.
